Campaigning Journalism Award for UWS Graduate

Updated: Jan 25

UWS Broadcast Journalism graduate Natalie Crawford has led an award-winning campaign to change Scotland’s Dog Laws at the IRN News Awards 2020.

Natalie, who is a senior reporter at Radio Clyde News, led the station’s call for the Scottish Government to review the current legislation to prevent dog attacks which it believes isn’t going far enough to provide adequate protection, and spoke in Holyrood at a Scottish Parliament committee meeting undertaking post-legislative scrutiny of the Control of Dogs (Scotland) Act 2010.
