Alan Murray is a Lecturer is in the School of Business & Creative Industries at the University of the West of Scotland. His areas of academic expertise are Enterprise Education, Entrepreneurial Education Ecosystems, Business Modelling and Planning, Small Business Management and Enterprise Networks.
Alan has organised an online conference to bring together a range of experts who are involved in teaching Enterprise and Entrepreneurship from a variety of sectors, organisations and backgrounds to share their experience and discuss the big issues that we as enterprise educators face now and in the future. In addition to panel discussion there will be a question and answer session from the online audience and live contributions through a variety of social media platforms.
The session will run from 1pm to 3pm on the 12th of August 2020. During the session we’ll be focussing on three key questions and the issues around them namely;
1. What should we be trying to achieve with enterprise education?
2. What are the barriers and challenges to teaching enterprise and entrepreneurship?
3. And what might solutions to these challenges look like?
