Applications are now open for Converge 2019, the leading company creation competition for staff, students and recent graduates of Scottish Universities and Research Institutes.
From spin outs to start-ups, Converge helps the most innovative and creative thinkers from academia to realise their entrepreneurial ambitions by offering no-strings-attached cash prizes, mentoring and a programme of business support that turns fledgling businesses into investor-ready companies.
This year you can choose from three competition categories:
·Converge Challenge – for projects demonstrating protectable know how, high commercial potential and scalability Creative Challenge – for innovative, new businesses operating within Scotland’s creative industries sector Impact Challenge – for innovative, new businesses with a social or environmental mission at their core Applications are welcomed from any industry sector and for products or service-based ideas at any stage of development.
