SIE are coming on campus on Wednesday 29th January from 1.00pm - 3.00pm at H324, Paisley, to deliver the Student Innovation Award level 1 workshop.
The SISA provides the opportunity for students to progress through 3 levels and is open to students of all years. They must complete a level 1 workshop to progress to the next levels.
The award will give students:
• Qualification for a Level 1 : Future Thinker certificate
• The opportunity to enter stages 2 and 3 of the awards and to join students from all over Scotland to work on an innovative project
• Enhanced career prospects and the chance to work with 3 of Scotland’s Innovation Centres (The DataLab, Digital Health & Care Institute and Censis)
and those completing the award as co-curricular learning will have this recognized on their UWS Achievement Award.
This represents another great opportunity for students to enhance their personal development and employability skills. Please bear in mind that places will be limited, and early booking of your place would be highly recommended.
Students from the School of Business and Creative Industries would certainly be advised to seriously consider seeking a place on this programme as the role of the entrepreneur and innovator is becoming increasingly valuable in a commercial context.
